2021 would see the next generation of Wilson A2K’s. Resident glove guru Shigeaki Aso and his team had cosmetically retooled/modernized the line and we wanted to compliment that with a high-end look. Wilson had built a cache of trust and respect over countless seasons and we felt this was a perfect opportunity to lean on that. This was all about not over-selling; To not state the obvious and let the gloves speak for themselves. Eliminate the noise and turn a baseball glove into an object of desire – Ultra-Premium Baseball.

As this campaign was going to rely heavily on glove photography, it was pretty crucial to have a shoot with those gloves. That may seem obvious, but due to production/launch timing and… differences of opinion… we’d never been successful in getting product for any sort of extensive shoot. We were able to change that mindset this year and the clients felt rewarded and inspired by seeing their product treated in ways they hadn’t before.
